You don't have to pay a fortune to buy your own domain name. Domain names are used in URL's to identify particular web pages. Though some companies pay large amounts for a particular domain name, anymore, there are many companies offering inexpensive domain names so that just about anyone can afford to buy their own.

It is simple to search for available domain names through Godaddy.com, and if your searched domain name is not available, they will suggest similar domain names.
  3. Cheap-DomainsNames.com Another popular domain name company is Cheap-DomainNames.com. Starting at just $8.95/year, you can buy a domain name, and along with your purchase, you get a starter web page free.
  4. Domainsarefree.com Domainsarefree.com offers a free domain name when you pay a small fee for web hosting. They also offer 24/7 toll-free customer support , free site-builder, marketing tools and more.
  5. HostingDude.com Try Hostingdude.com where you can purchase a domain name for $1.99 per year, which includes a free website with free hosting and free design.
  6. BuyDomains.com BuyDomains.com is an excellent source for finding and purchasing a domain name. Unlike the other resources mentioned, this company would not be considered inexpensive, but my reason for mentioning them is because they have an excellent tool for designing a domain name. In their search field, you simply type a few keywords that you want to have in your domain name, click search, and their website will give you a list of available domain names that match your keywords. Again, many of them are not cheap, but just by seeing the suggested domain names, it gives you other ideas to use for creating your own domain name.
